Barley whole is a full grain that is high in energy and starch content.
Whole barley is a good general purpose feed for Sheep,Goats, Cattle, Deer, Alpacas and poultry . Cattle are not able to digest whole grain.
With any whole or rolled grain product feed directly to stock, stock need to be gradually introduced to the new feed over 10 – 14 days. This gives time for their digestive system time to adjust to a new feed. Soak or use our rolled barley option when feeding to Pigs or horses.
